Animals have spirits just the same as people, an animal spirit is reincarnated and becomes another animal.
The main difference between animals and people in respect to spirits is that all animals can see spirits, both animal spirits and people spirits.
What the animal sees is the body form, just as if the person or other animal was there in their physical form.
For this reason a dog will bury a bone, not to preserve it or keep the flies off it till later, but to stop the other dogs and cats who wander through his yard from taking it.
A dog or cat will bark and snarl at nothing, (that is nothing which we can see) but in fact another animal may have come into the house or yard and sitting looking at you and your pet together having fun. The natural instinct to defend it's own territory, and in particular it own food, the animal will try and scare off the intruder.
Dolphins, seen playing, circling, diving and jumping are often not playing on their own, they may be enjoying the company of some human spirits, giving them a tow, a ride on their back or just circling around and around their human company.
Good children spirits often use this form of entertainment, where as evil child spirits may try to hurt or scare the dolphins.
Dolphins in a pen may be seen to go to the edge of their pool and rise in a small group because they have seen a group of people dressed in the colours of the attendants; but to a physical person to look in that same direction they would wonder what the dolphins were doing as they can't see any people or anything that would cause the dolphins to act in that way.
A horse may buck if a spirit dog or any other spirit suddenly appeared beside or in front of them.
For someone who can truly see spirits it would not be uncommon for them to see a fish float past, into and then out of the other side of the room.
All spirits keep their form and everything about them remains the same, no spirit ceases to exist or sleeps or becomes unconscious. They are just no longer visible.
