All of us experience thinking which is evil in content, some most of the time.
There are many examples which could be sited:
The Government spends $millions on trying to find a cure for the A.I.D.S. virus but not a dollar on encouraging people to stop the behaviour which is a main way of spreading the virus. In fact people are encouraged to enjoy the act of sexual intercourse, it's pleasures etc. but make sure you use protection.
Nothing about casual sex with someone the person has no intention of considering a relationship with, or with a person other than their spouse.
Churches receive a record offering "which is God's money", so they immediately consider that it should happen every week. So that they have more money for their own wages and the church programs, (seldom programs for the poor, which God intended all the money to assist).
The alcohol industry involves such a large amount of money, that all the social problems which result from abuse while under the influence of alcohol become acceptable.
The Government members don't want to reduce the profits of their financial contributors so they "seek a fix" of the social problems (including youth) without reducing the wealth of their "mates".
The same situation exists in the tobacco industry even though millions of people in our community are at varying degrees of health deterioration and thousands die yearly of smoking related diseases.
The gambling industry is even more obvious: With millions of dollars spent daily the Government will not restrict gambling because they receive 10 - 20% of every dollar spent. The greed of the gambler is only exceeded by the high roller who's greed is surpassed by the greed of the politician for a larger revenue and the power and ego journey (with travel allowance) which he or she is able to enjoy.
All this money comes largely from the majority of the population, the middle class and poor of our community. The families of the gambler, the alcoholic and smoker all suffer.
The Government, the industries which supply the products and services and the individuals who spend their money all decide the result for themselves is acceptable, no matter what the result for their own families or the community.
There are many things which people don't understand, but this does not lesson the truth or power of them:
A similar situation also occurs when a person has regular feelings which are evil. Some examples are: A person who is always planning revenge, or judging others, or telling lies (including only telling part truths), putting others down with their words and actions, hurting others or just threatening to and getting pleasure from it.
Our society has deteriorated to such an extent that people can fulfill their lust for hurting others without having to do anything themselves - society has set up a system where people are encouraged to report others (true or false) and the system will prosecute and punish the other person for you. The system is constantly being used for revenge.
