Astrologys' Beginnings and Evolution.

Ptolemy is credited with the first modern astrology textbook. Under the Greeks and Ptolemy, planets, houses and signs of the Zodiac were rationalized and their function set down in a way that has changed very little to this day. St.Augustine, formerly a believer in Astrology later violently attacked it as a form of Evil Magic.

Astrology and the Church

A number of Popes adopted astrological practices with enthusiasm. Sixtus IV {1414-84} was the first Pope to draw up and interpret a horoscope. St.Thomas Aquinas {1225-74} one of the outstanding medievel figures to endorse Astrology. He said,"The Celestial" bodies are the cause of all that takes place in the sublunar world. Hippocrates{born c.460 BC} is the composer of the Hippocratic Oath {that Doctors swear to} said "A physician without a knowledge of Astrology has no right to call himself a physician"

Astrologys Place In Society Today.

We live some part of the teachings of Astrology every day of our life and do not even realize it. Astrology simply is a tool among many we have at our disposal to help us through life. It teaches only GOOD. It relates to a supreme being. It speaks to the twelve tribes and of each human path we have chosen to perfect our Souls. I'm sure you all know of the influence the Moon has on human behavior. The Moon acts on the waters of our body the same as it
does on the oceans of the world. We each are Microcosoms of the Macrocosm. It is said "As it is Above so it is Below" (on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN).
