FRANKIE GRECO
(The Rockabilly Rebel)
Born of Italian immigrants in 1966, Frankie Greco started his
journey into a life of music at the age of eleven, when his love for singing was a welcome
sound to all around him. Later Frankie learned to play both piano and guitar: this, taking
him further down the Rockabilly highway.
As a big fan of the 1950's and 60's music, with special interest
focused towards Elvis Presley, Frankie Greco found himself singing in numerous rock bands
up until April 15, 1992 when his life took a sudden change. As a result of an accident
which nearly claimed his life, Frankie lost his left arm. This was the beginning of a new
life for him. From that day forward he has found a new meaning in living.
The new zest for life has given the world the "Rockabilly Rebel".
Trying to make a modern
day rockabilly sound with the spirit of the simpler time found in the 50's and 60's,
Frankie Greco has created the soul of his performance. His one goal is to entertain his
audience by putting on a show that both captivates and mesmerizes his audience.
