SAL ACCAPUTO

Sal Accaputo a.k.a. Selvis, has been performing the music of Elvis
since he was eight years old.
In 1992, Selvis met Charlie Hodge, Elvis's longtime best
friend, who had lived at Graceland for 17 years. For a couple of months, Charlie stayed
with Selvis in Toronto. "He told a different story every night," says Selvis,
who went on to perform with Hodge in Las Vegas.
Selvis' charitable spirit is apparent in the list of causes for
which he has performed. The Heart Fund, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Muscular
Dystrophy, and the Sick Kid's Hospital Telethon. He has also performed to huge
crowds at the Annual CHIN Picnic from 1974-1989, played numerous nightclubs and has
appeared on the Dini Petty Show and the Shirley Show. In 1992, he sang with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps in Las Vegas and also performed at
Ontario Place and Canada's Wonderland. Selvis is known and acclaimed by many celebrities
for his strong voice and moving tribute.
In 1983 he recorded an album called Love Me Forever and in
1987, appeared in a film called The Dark Side. Selvis also plays in the movie, In Search
of Elvis and is currently involved in a project called The Legends Show.
