SAL ACCAPUTO
(SELVIS)

Sal Accaputo a.k.a. Selvis, has been performing the music of Elvis since he was eight years old.
In 1992, Selvis met Charlie Hodge, Elvis's longtime best friend, who had lived at Graceland for 17 years. For a couple of months, Charlie stayed with Selvis in Toronto. "He told a different story every night," says Selvis, who went on to perform with Hodge in Las Vegas.

Selvis' charitable spirit is apparent in the list of causes for which he has performed. The Heart Fund, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Muscular Dystrophy, and the Sick Kid's Hospital Telethon. He has also performed to huge crowds at the Annual CHIN Picnic from 1974-1989, played numerous nightclubs and has appeared on the Dini Petty Show and the Shirley Show. In 1992, he sang with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps in Las Vegas and also performed at Ontario Place and Canada's Wonderland. Selvis is known and acclaimed by many celebrities for his strong voice and moving tribute.

In 1983 he recorded an album called Love Me Forever and in 1987, appeared in a film called The Dark Side. Selvis also plays in the movie, In Search of Elvis and is currently involved in a project called The Legends Show.
