Civilian Personnel Flight

Civilian Personnel Flight is the main means of transportation for workers of the Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB).  CPF is run by the United States Air Force and not only is for NAFB, but all other Air Force related groups.

One main terminal is at McCarran International Airport.

CPF's vehicles are small helicopters and 737 jets.  Each jet is a 737-200 (or a CT-43, the military equivalent) with a single red stripe along the side and no company name or insignia.  Smaller Beechcraft Kingair prop-driven planes make special trips to Edwards Air Force Base and other destinations.

On aviation frequencies, these jets are known as "Janet."

For six months (1996), six times have CPF jets been seen in Augusta, GA.  There seem to have been mechanical problems so that they had to be diverted to Bush Field.  The Savannah River Project is just north of Augusta.  It is a nuclear weapons and fuel processing facility of the DOE and run by Bechtel.
