Batman: The Animated Series
I really like this site from one of the finest cartoons to come out in a long time. Really set the bar to a new level that has been reached by the new Superman Cartoon and Batman Beyond.  Has some fun games and good music and images. The multimedia gallery is alos chock full of sounds and video. I would load some of the video clips here but they are too huge.

Batman Beyond
A worthy successor to the Batman mythos. I absolutley love this cartoon. The style and sensibilities are very much like the annimated Batman cartoon from Bruce Timm and Paul Dini - who again have captured the mood and spirit of Batman perfectly and then giving it a mentor/student twist with the aging Bruce Wayne having to let go.

Space Ghost
When we lived in Europe there was only two English cartoons we could get on French TV. One was Looney Tunes and the other was the original Space Ghost. Besides, any superhero that wears power gauntlets is aces in my books. Also had that wacked out monkey who I can't remember the name of.

Sideshow Bob
Bob rules! I think its the combination of great writing and the voice of Kelsey Gramar that truley makes Bob a scream. Click HERE or HERE to hear some of my favorite Bob lines. The link from his name is a great site that has many sounds and pics for the Bob lover in us all.

Daria
Everyone's favorite goth downer. Have taught more Darias than I would like to remember but they are always the most witty as they comment about the world under their breath. This cartoon captures that personality perfectly. You can't help but feel her frustration and pain at her situation.


My very first favorite cartoon and the one that got me into superheroes big time. When we lived in Europe I would pine for my Bird Man and would draw pictures of him and Avenger in all my notebooks. Cartoon Network has the intro video so go HERE to check that out.

I lived in a time when all we got were really crappy cartoons. I say crappy cause compared to what we see now they were but I still look back on them fondly. Such ones include Rocket Robin Hood, Hercules and the old Spiderman cartoon before they went all freaky and psychodelic on us...come to think of it they did it with RRH too...And my vote for the worst cartoon villian of all time??? It begins and ends with the MASK from the old Hercules cartoon. How weak is this guy? Of course "nothing can harm him when he wears the MASK OF VULCAN!" but Herc always finds a way to get it off of his head....put a chin strap in the damn thing why don't ya??? Best scene was when he made similiar masks for a herd of cows...why a herd of cows...only his twisted mind understands.


DR KATZ
One of the all time funniest shows. Additional bonus that it is annimated. Has a truth and sardonic look at life that is only rivalled by the Simpsons. The lengths that Ben goes through just to avoid growing up is an inspiration to me. And who cannot love the long suffering Laura? The annimation  uses the SQUIGGLEVISION tecnique. The same folks (techies and voices) make the equally brilliant SCIENCE COURT. Stenographer Fred - Emmy bait!!!! And you have to check out the Real Time Video Samples at this Cartoon Network site for a true sample of the genius of the show.
