Change
and Stagnation
The opportunity afforded us in this
incarnation is quite remarkable. It is here where we can
experience directly the bump and grind, the hard knocks
of conflict, contrasting perspectives, the ups and downs
of feelings, sensations, stimulations, pains and pleasures,
the creatings and stirrings of life. This interplay of the various diverse energies and
consciousnesses epitomizes the
dualistic
nature of
all existence... it is drama... it is life... and it is in constant motion
and change, swinging like a pendulum from one extreme to another. It may
feel at times like a fast and furious ride
on a roller coaster, a slow and arduous climb up a high mountains,
or a leisurely drive down the highway... no matter, if
one is consciously and fully living and flowing in the NOW, each moment of life is
a step forward... and
life is never dull and always new and full of discovery. Going with this
flow, we delve deeper and deeper into life and into the essence and
experience of our humanity. It is in this ever NOW that Spirit speaks to us with the
greatest impact and intimacy... and it is through all these diverse
experiences that our awakening is
accelerated.
Yet, there is a tendency in our psyches (the ego mind) that is insecure in the shifting
tides of life, afraid of any sort of change. This part strives for
constancy, the conventional, security, stability, a given and known
identity. This is the part of us that wants to have everything all figured
out... where we must have control of all that is happening in our reality
(instead of allowing the mystery of life to unfold). This part carefully
devises plots and plans our life
out to
the smallest detail, locking down our thinking to function
exclusively inside the "Box" of our limited human
mind... and if there is any deviation in our expectations (due to
outer circumstances and forces) we get all bent out of shape (no matter if Spirit has another higher greater
agenda for us). This is our psychic "comfort
zone"... and we invest all our power in maintaining the illusion of
this space, no
matter if it holds us back from our greater potential.
Another tendency of our psyches is to hold judgment of life as it is or
isn't... as what we think it should or should not be... that one
experience is superior and more desirable than another. In
other words, we tend to hang on to and pursue the " pleasant"
experiences and feelings while avoiding the "negative" ones (even if the so called "negative" experiences and feelings may
hold more life lessons and growth for us).
According to the Buddhist teachings, this attachment and the resultant
damage it does to our beings is the primary cause for suffering. Holding
on to past events, experiences, feelings... and projecting such
expectations (and false hopes) on into the future... sets up a powerful fixedness, resistance pattern or stagnation in our
energy field and consciousness that holds us from flowing in life
"as it is" in the ever
present NOW.
Stagnation
is death. Change is Life
Because the foundation or "game of life" (on this dimension)
is based on duality, the balance points are constantly shifting from one
polarity to another (and all points in between). As soon as one has
established any state of peace, neutrality, equilibrium or stability in
any one position, a new factor is introduced, and we are forced to start
all over again (this is true for everyone here, with no exceptions).
This insures that all life is continually tested and pushed to evolve
adapt and grow (otherwise things get pretty dull and boring). Depending
on our attitude, this can be fun or frustrating, but life is still a
juggling act where... on the one hand, we are ever trying to find
(and for some, stay in) the mysterious and illusive balance points...
and on the other hand, life keeps on dropping new "balls" into
our hands. "Change" is the only constant thing in
this universe... this must be accepted, flowed with,
and surrendered to - otherwise we will
be in a constant state of frustration and pain and disappointment. Of
course, death is the ultimate release here, bringing us out of this
level of the "game" - but what sort of challenge is that to our
souls ? (none). If life maintained a constant state of equilibrium, there
would be no dynamism, no excitement, no growth. Knowing of our
psychic attachments to our "comfort zone", God (who is ever
working behind the scenes of life) "conspires" with his Spirit
helpers (such as us healers) to do everything possible to shift us out
of our stagnation, and forces (or if you prefer "nudges") us back
onto our "spiritual evolutionary path".
Tantric
Healing
Thru such healing work as is offered here - what some may call
"Tantra" - all the
diverse and dualistic energetic elements found at the polar extremes of
existence... the Male and Female, Shiva and Shakti, Heaven and Earth,
Yin and Yang, Expansive and Contractive, Hot and Cold, Matter and
Anti-Matter, Light and Dark, Positive and Negative, Internal and
External, Past Present and Future... any one or all of these elements
can be applied to
create a number of catalytic, conscious, energetic, transformative
events that break up old holding patterns (stagnation) allowing one to shift
closer into the middle balance point of the ever
now-ness and is-ness of life. For example, if you are presenting
an extreme of one polarity, the opposite polarity of elements may be
applied to your space to shift you into a more central, internal and
balanced position. Eventually, the
swings of your energetic pendulum (and your outer moods) will be less
and less pronounced as you go deeper within - where you may experience the deeper feelings of Bliss,
Love, and Peace... which is in essence, are qualities of your
"Inner Self" or "Inner Nature". Here too, it is not
uncommon that as ones (normally) outward directed consciousness and energy
moves more and more into the center, it enters the psychic channels (the
main one being the "Kundalini"), and begins to awaken its latent
powers.
However, attachment to any such powers, spiritual phenomenon or
experiences that come along the way... will eventually be an impediment
along ones path. No matter how powerful the Kundalini experience is... and no matter how
wonderful these psychic abilities are... this is not the final
destination, only but one stage on the journey into the center towards
God. In the end, everything must be surrendered up to Spirit.
White & Red Tantra
Depending upon where a person currently resides on the scale of
"extremes", one may conclude that there are two different paths
or energetic elements that may be applied to balance them out :
On one hand we have the "White Tantra Path"... which works with the
cooling, light, cosmic, expansive energies and vibrations that are found
in the higher multi-dimensional chakras and levels of reality (which are
generally very
safe and purifying). For someone whose awareness has been fixated on the
physical and mental realities on the lower levels and densities of their
being (what is predominantly but not exclusively found with most men I
have worked with), this polarity is used. This sort of energy work can
be difficult to feel at first as it is extremely subtle and light, none
the less, it is an important ingredient that is needed in your space. I have found that this is where Spirit usually begins
most healings at, especially for those who are in preparation to be later
receiving energy work and activations within the lower chakras.
On the other hand is the "Red Tantra Path"...
which works with the fiery,
creative, concentrated sexual energies and vibrations that are found in
the lower chakras of the lower self (which depending upon ones
particular history, can sometimes hold much violent and
destructive patterns, energies and memories). If
these energies are awakened and activated before the channels (and psyche) are cleared
and prepared (done in the White Tantric Work),
there can be an exaggeratedly violent and detrimental reaction within
the being (from overly activating these latent neurological
and psychological imbalances and unresolved issues and energies). Some
of this "stuff" does come up in the normal course of healing
(called a "healing crisis"), but it must be gone through when
one has laid the proper foundations - when the soul is fully prepared
and ready for it to occur... in the correct stages, in the precise
orders of unfoldment... not forced as ones ego mind thinks and wills is
right, but according to the agenda and direction and timing of the
Higher Self. After having read a few books and taken a few classes, a
number of people get the notion to forcibly stimulate themselves on these
lower chakras and energies
(through drugs or certain intense spiritual practices), only to find
that by opened themselves up in these ways, they have made themselves
vulnerable to being manipulated and controlled by the lower
consciousnesses (entities) that exist on such levels... and having let
loose such powerful energies (which cannot then be so easily controlled,
balanced and integrated), this further causes physical and
psychic burn out (insanity in some cases) diseases, or premature death.
"Tantra" (as it is described here) happens to be just one of many paths
that a soul could experience... but it is not necessarily
a path that everyone must or should be on (unless it is your
destiny or "soul agenda"). Incidentally, aspects
of the Tantric Path could be likened to the "Alchemical
Process" (where the base vibrations, energy, matter and consciousness of the person are
transformed into
"Spiritual
Gold").
Your path (as you do the
healing work) may include aspects of this or another processes... no
matter... due to our unique past karmic and soul
history,
everyone's path is different. I am just offering here a general description of
what might occur for you in terms of this "Tantric Path" (as I
understand it) but there are really no hard and fast rules here...
Spirit does it the way it wills... often not making any sense to us at
all.
Fellowship
Within every spiritual or religious tradition, like minded seekers
have been encouraged to regularly gather in fellowship to
form some sort of "community" : Christians
have their Churches, Jews their Synagogues, Moslems
their Mosques, Witches their Covens, Buddhists their Sangas, Alcoholics their AA
meetings,... (Coffee Aficionados their Starbucks...ha ha). You get the picture.
It is not enough that people get the individual healing
work from me in order to be complete, whole and happy.
Even though the spiritual and energetic work helps in many ways, as
human beings, we need to also feel connected to a community of like
minded souls. Especially when you are just
starting this work, I would encourage you to find those whom you can spiritually resonate
and
openly communicate your new
found sensitivities and truths with (so you may not feel entirely alone,
isolated, misunderstood or estranged). For most people this is imperative,
as few of us can continue along this journey without some outer human
support and encouragement. If I can be this person for you, that is
great... I don't mind (but that may not be enough... you will have to
feel this out for yourself). If this fellowship is not to
be found where you live, perhaps it is something you would be interested
in creating. The more people you can get involved in the healing work,
the wider your spiritual support system becomes. If everyone in the
world gets interested in such things, can you imagine how life would be
?
As we all live on this one world, we share
in her destiny. We are inter-dependent and inter-connected - what
happens to the individual happens to the whole (and vice
versa).
Rings
Of Power
Every healing session you do helps you step that much closer into what I
call your "Rings of Power."
Each ring (or layer) holds many old unresolved issues and energies, some
that have been lying in wait for eons. As one goes deeper and deeper into
all that resides in these "Rings"... facing these ancient
challenges... healing and overcoming them... not only does this lead you
further and further into deeper more central core layers of your being, but it also
energizes, empowers and expands your energy field, frees your consciousness from
limiting egocentric
fixations, and allows you to become more and more identified and
involved with (and affect) the greater multi-dimensional universe. It is
from this perspective (no matter how physically
removed from society you may be) there is the realization that any suffering in the
world (no matter how small) directly or indirectly affects us all. From
the point of this higher and freer consciousness, no distance or walls can keep
out the cries of pain and suffering heard from any life form. When one
reaches these deeper levels of
spirit, one realizes these inter-connections and inter-dependencies and
realizes that the only way to be free is to help
others be free... and one of the best way to help others be free is for
us to be free first (so we are not like "the blind leading the
blind"). Spiritual Liberation first starts from you (both of us
really) and then radiates outward. From the simple
actions of doing this healing work, you are spiritually contributing to the upliftment of the world and all the
people upon her.... This is the work of the "Boddhisatvas",
Light Workers and Star
Seeded Souls... all Servants of the Great Spirit.
The Boddhisatva
At some point on
our path, as our sense of self expands, we come to realize that personal
salvation is not enough...
the great work beyond is global
liberation.... The work and grace you have received will be wished for others,
that they too may have a greater sense of love, freedom, awareness,
compassion.... Thus is awakened the "Boddhisatva"
- one
who lives upon the earth plane for the sake of others. All else
becomes trivial compared to this grand work... no other activity truly
engages the heart and soul quite like it. As a channel of the Higher Self,
your very presence brings grace and
light to all.... It may be little and quiet things
you do, but it is the spirit and energy behind it that makes a difference. You become another strong link
in the chain of enlightened human consciousnesses (see Ascension).
As you
move further into this new role, your own spirit will grow larger and
more powerful. You will become a new and refreshed (reborn) person, every day
offered new opportunities to serve Spirit.
All of your relationships will take on a whole new meaning
and purpose.... People who did not serve your highest and
best interests begin to fall away, as new friends and lovers - who
better resonate with your inner being - come
to take their place. This
leads one into a new paradigm of the coming spiritual millennia - the Tantric Healing
Relationship.
Tantric Healing Relationships
On an energetic
and essential level, what occurs here in this work is (in my opinion)
very special. Things that do not normally occur in ones day to day... or
even in ones most intimate of relationships... happens here. Within the
intentional sacred space that my spirit provides, you are being touched with
the highest and best of that which I am (and all those other vast
resources in spirit of which I am a part). That which I have that you do not, is
transmitted. This healing work is not only an exercise of... but a preparation for... true
intentional and sacred relationships, where individuals can communicate
with, see and honor the
inner spirit of the other, clearly and without distortion. I even see
this work as a preparatory course for dating and intimacy
("in-to-me-see") opening your being up to experiencing
(sharing) your soul with another (allowing yourself to see and be seen).
When we are clear, everyone becomes a mirror for our self to be
reflected back upon us, showing aspects of the one being that we were not normally aware of or see.
However, the new paradigm of such future relationships cannot be
manifested until we clear and heal all our negative
karmas and issues (that initially brought most of us together in the
first place). Once we move beyond this stuff, then and only then can we
experience the uninhibited and unadulterated sharing of our deepest
selves - our deepest love.
Overcoming Addiction
Tantra also talks
about becoming one with the universe. This may hold an important clue
for those who are trying to overcome an attachment or addiction. One key to
releasing or getting
over a thing is to become so totally at one with that object that there
ceases to be any separation between it and you... like an arm, it is
just there and we don't need to think or obsess about it anymore.
As long as one sees or feels a separation, such a thing has a power over
you (for all yearn to come back to oneness and unity). We shall use cigarettes as an
example. When you feel
compelled to smoke, instead of doing so, hold it in your
hand, reverently, sacredly. Meditate on its energy and
consciousness... this
is your lover - that which you desire and want to be
within you for all time. In your mind, become the cigarette... feel its power, its essence, its vibration,
its spirit moving into and merging with you. Do this
practice more and more until,
with the power of your mind alone, you can draw the power of it
into your being without ever having to take a puff. To be successful
using this method, one must have a serious, committed, willful intention
and desire. This method is a trick or play on the mind, but it may work
for you. In addition, the healing work can be of support.
One can take any object - it does not have to be a "negative"
thing (it could even be a person). Sit with this thing... hold it in your hands, close your
eyes, imagine and believe that the power, the
essence, the vibration of that thing is going into you, being
categorized and stored away into your energy field and subconscious
memory banks. Once you do this enough times, your mind can begin to see that there is less and less
a difference between you
and the outer world. This technique is something of an affirmation that
may help your mind get used to the notion... and come closer to the
realization... that you really
do have the entire universe inside you... that there is no separation
between the two. Again, this is a Tantric practice designed to internalize
(incorporate) the outer universe into the "Inner
Landscape of your Soul"
(or at least the inner landscape of your mind... and there is a
difference).
Global
Consciousness & Responsibility
If we met with no
energetic resistance anywhere within or around us on any level,
our consciousness would expand
to fill the farthest reaches of the universe. For example, when you go on vacation to a remote part of
the planet (especially alone), away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world, your consciousness and energy field expands and
you feel more light, free and happy. I feel this every time I leave the
condensed consciousness and energy field of Los Angeles and Southern
California, crossing the border into Arizona. The material mind set of
all the people in California is so oppressive, one doesn't realize
this until removed from its influences. It is no wonder that many of the
people who have gone into space experience an awakening of an expanded,
enlightened, global consciousness. Not all of us are so lucky to be able
to get that far away (while we are alive and incarnate that is... when
we finally leave this life we will have plenty of such opportunities).
How much more blissful would
we feel if the whole planet was unburdened of all its sorrows ?
However, no matter how far away we remove ourselves, the dark,
heavy, worrisome consciousness of the world has an insidious tendency to
intrude upon the fringes of our awareness, itching its way into our blissful
oblivion... this cannot be avoided. It does not matter how rich, beautiful,
intelligent, even enlightened you are as an individual... nor does it
matter whatever distractions or addictions we use to escape... the sorrows of the
world still all exists and will always have some influence on our
consciousness. A part of us knows this and can
never really let us totally relax. Death is no escape either... even the beings in spirit are
moved to compassion by the suffering that is experienced on this earth plane.
Once we leave our bodies, we too become more sensitive and aware of the
conditions here, as we look down from a safe (and objective) distance...
most of us cannot but help say "What can we now do to alleviate this suffering, mass forgetfulness and confusion ?"
We live in a highly dense and spiritually constricted
world where everyone around us is living in self imposed, contracted,
constricted boxes of consciousness so extreme
that our own consciousness is boxed in by everyone else's boxes !!!
We must
start somewhere to break up these limitations.
The first and best place to start is with ourselves.
In the beginning of the spiritual path, our primarily
responsibility is concerned with removing or clearing the energetic and
vibrational resistances we hold within our own beings. The
"Boddhisatva" realizes that to heal and change the world, one
must first be healed and changed (since we are the vehicles for spirit
to work through). Eventually, after having cleared our channels (to one
degree or another) one may shift some of this attention outward to healing and uplifting the
world. This is the path of compassion. If you have done any work with me in the past, you
may have
noticed that the clear light of your expanding energy and consciousness
does have a (direct and indirect) affect on the
people in your immediate environment (this is partly what being a Light Worker and
a Star
Seeded Soul
is about). However, there is never an end to what healing one must do
within the self, and ultimately, that must always be our primary
responsibility and concern.
If you want to be part of this grand experiment
the
invitation is now being presented to you... the choice to open it is
yours.
I cannot give you the answer,
but I can invite you to
partake of the mystery of the journey.
contradictions, questions, uncertainty, unknowing....
Faith and Trust...
What more does the spiritual warrior and hero need ?
I look forward to your inquiries.
