Cupid is a new television series on ABC that airs at 9 o'clock EST on Thursday nights. The basic storyline is of a psychologist named Dr. Claire Allen(portrayed by the actress Paula Marshall) who stumbles across a man who believes he is Cupid. This man, Trevor Hale(portrayed by Jeremy Piven) truly believes he is the Roman god Cupid, sent down to earth as punishment for becoming too lax in his duties. He is sent back without the help of his magical bow and arrows and cannot return to Mt. Olympus until he has matched a hundred couples. To make matters worse while he is down here he cannot have sex or else he will become mortal. Claire does not believe Trevor and instead believes him to be harmless but delusional. The twist is that you never are completely sure whether he is telling the truth or if she is right and he is loony! Sound good?
