Welcome to the section of my website devoted to Kung Fu! Many
of my fondest childest memories are of watching Kung Fu Theatre on Sunday
afternoons at 3. I grew up on these movies and though the technical qualities
and story lines were not the most realistic, I still found myself glued to the
TV every Sunday! Now I look back at those movies as terrific for the genre they
exemplify. This is Kung Fu at its finest! I would rather watch my worn copy of
Five Deadly Venoms than pay $8.00( I won't even go into the ridiculous price of
movies these days!) to see the latest Jackie Chan vehicle. Don't get me wrong,
Jackie is a fine martial artist and he represents a whole other segment of the
Kung Fu genre. However, it just doesn't seem the same without a huge flailing
ponytail and the horribly dubbed English! My all-time favorite movies are The
Unbeatable Dragon and The Five Deadly Venoms(practically everyone's favorite of these
movies). The developer of these movies are two brothers known as the Shaw Brothers.
