Poem for the Goddess

Undercover of a midnight moon
The gracious Goddess will be here soon
We invoke her with her blazing light
And invite her spirit to join us tonight

She descends down from starry sky
With open arms and protective eye
Her robe of stars with twinkling thread
And a crown of roses upon her head

She brings with her the peace divine
A thousand blessings in a line
A wand of love to touch our hearts
The bond of light to never part
