Why do people choose Wicca as a way of life?
Well, for most people that I know it has to do with the suffocation
of a former Christian religion,
and somehow KNOWING there is something
else out there than what we were taught. For my sisters and I it was a sudden knowledge one day while we were
reading, that, oh my gosh, this is how I have
felt all my life!
My sister Tigress Moon and I had the same vision at the same moment in time.
She was 13, I was 10. I was sitting on my bed,
doing my homework, and so was she.
I looked up and saw my closet door opening.
There was a figure standing there holding out a book to me
(keep in mind Tigress saw the same thing).
At the time I thought it was a bible,
but there was a symbol on the book that was hiding
the words so I couldn't read it. To this day
I have no idea what that book was. Now, I couldn't
tell you if that figure was a man or a woman,
I was so transfixed on that book.
To this day I don't know if it was a dream
or if I was awake but it happened to both of us at the same moment in time.
It is one of those things you brush off and think, "I'll figure it out later".
Now, you have to understand,
I was raised in a very haunted house and have always had a kindred
with the spirit world, so I was not afraid.
I think this had something to do with the fact that I am supposed
to be a Wiccan, where everything comes back to the Earth,
and revolves around our universe. Before we started Wicca,
we all felt very small when we looked at the stars.
Now, we feel a PART of the universe. Not small at all.
