Pagan Gardens Mission Statement

Pagan Gardens is offering a prize to the person who
can write up a mission statement that sounds eloquent
and poetic yet understandable to all based on this
basic paragraph:

Imagine if you will a collage of beautiful gardens
connected by many pathways starting out as a
single path called humanity. All of the different
varieties of flowers...some exotic, some not
remarkable but they add to the beauty of the whole picture.
The image you have now is what Pagan Gardens is all
about. Variety and being different CAN be good.
In this case all of the different species of
flowers, animals and paths make the gardens
more beautiful.

The prize is a cherished teddy bear nick nack
with lillies and a small teddy bear in front
as well. :0)(To the men who enter...sorry
that the prize seems more feminine in nature
however it was picked as the prize to represent
the garden aspect).

Send your entry to webmaster@pagan-pgc.zzn.com
with the subject line stating Mission Statement
Entries will be judged by a writers club at
the local college here to promote fairness.

Pagan Gardens Community Rules
The basic rules here in Pagan Gardens are:

1)Do as ye will, but harm none- This rule
in reality is a catch all. Reflect a little
bit on what this truly means...harm is not
just a physical term it involves hurting
others emotionally as well. So, before
you post any messages with negative
context that singles out one person or even
a group of folks please remember this rule.

2)Respect others' beliefs. Do NOT invalidate
another person's or groups' beliefs.Whether you
think what the person is talking about is
possible or not there is absolutely no
reason to attack or put down the person in
private messages or especially in public chat
or forum. I will admit that there have been
times that I have heard folks saying stuff that
sounded a bit far fetched rather than going off
I just kept it to myself. Face of it none of us
knows everything and there is always a possibility
that what you find impossible is possible as well
as reality. Beyond all of that we have all faced
criticism of this type from people seeing as how
we are not a convential religion we want others
to respect the fact that our beliefs are valid
to us. Give your fellow pagans the same courtesy.
This rule technically fits in with the first rule
however, I feel that from certain actions I have
seen that this needed to be stressed.

Please be patient with us, major rennovations
occuring.Should be completed by April 1st.
Thanks,
PGC Webmaster.
